About

Hi, I'm Ash.

I build systems that help people gather, learn, listen, and build.

My work spans the gamut from API ecosystems and developer communities to collective listening experiences and cultural exchange. My sweet spot is turning ambiguity into strategy and structure, especially for technology platforms looking to connect with builders.

Over the course of my career, I've built and scaled developer relations and developer experience programs at Adobe Creative Cloud and Nylas. I've helped launch app ecosystems, grow developer communities, design education programs, and guide platform evolution through major transitions. Whether it's helping developers learn and adopt emerging technologies, filling a new marketplace with integrations for launch day, or shepherding an API platform through a significant rewrite, I enjoy working hands-on with developers while keeping an eye on the broader system.

Today, I split my time between software products, community building, and creative experiments. I'm the founder of Random Tantrum, creator of Collxn, an organizer of technology communities in Japan and the United States, and an advisor to teams building AI-integrated products.
